At Properly Tied, we want you to be completely satisfied with your order. We've created this returns & exchange process to make your experience as fast and easy as possible.

Returns & Exchange Policy:


Unworn and unwashed merchandise may be returned or exchanged if accompanied by the original tags and return paperwork generated through our returns portal. After completing the return process, you will be credited the appropriate amount upon processing of the returned item(s) based on the original payment method or issued a store credit.*

*Properly Tied reserves the right to refuse returns of worn, washed, those with tags removed, or items excluded below. Mail-in returns undocumented by our returns portal will not be processed. Any items not processed through the portal will not generate a refund/store credit, and returns with missing items will have longer processing times.

If you would like to return items purchased at a Properly Tied retailer, please return the items to that location. Returns received by Properly Tied that were not purchased from properlytied.com or one of our pop-up events cannot be processed and will be returned at your expense.

Eligible items may be returned for:

Exchanges & Store Credit: FREE within 60 days Original Payment Method: $9.95 flat return rate within 30 days


The full amount paid minus shipping fees and discounts will be credited 10-12 days upon processing of the returned item(s).

You may initiate a return by visiting our returns portal and entering order details used at the time of purchase, then following the instructions provided. Please retain the tracking number on the return label, as it is required to determine shipment status. Note the above return fee for refunds to the original payment method within 30 days.

Exclusions:


Items marked "FINAL SALE" or "ALL SALES FINAL" are offered at clearance prices and may not be returned or exchanged. This includes "semi-annual", "final flight", "last call", "spring cleaning", and "12 Days of Christmas" promotions as they are offered at deep discounts.

Other items considered final sale are as follows: undergarments and socks.

Gift & Holiday Season Return Policy:

If you are the recipient of a gift originally purchased at properlytied.com or a Properly Tied pop-up*, we will need to update information associated with the original purchase. Please reach out to customercare@properlytied.com with the purchaser's name, email address, order number, and phone number to process returns or exchanges.

If you would like to return items purchased at a Properly Tied retailer, returns and exchanges may be facilitated through said retailer in accordance with their policies. Properly Tied does not accept returns or exchanges on products purchased at other retailers, as these products cannot be processed and will be returned to you at your expense.

*Purchases made at a Properly Tied pop-up are eligible for extended return or exchange through January 15. No exceptions.

Defective or Incorrectly Received Merchandise:

If you received defective* or incorrect merchandise, please return the product back to us through our return portal. When returning the item, you will be instructed to select the appropriate reason for return.

*Please note that all defective items are subject to inspection upon receipt to our warehouse. Properly Tied reserves the right to refuse worn, washed, or damaged merchandise.
